This role requires a person who can work to improve the production of the company by introducing a cost and time effective alternative production methods to improve the companysmarket position by developing its UK business and achieve financial growth.
The Production Manager will have the overall responsibility of the department and be the escalation contact for the supervisors with any issues production or staff wise that they encounter.
Due to continued growth in in fashion, garment and clothing business we are seeking a Production Engineer.
The successful candidate will bring experience of using the cost and time effective methods to plan layout regarding the work flow and type of themachinery within the dyeing and finishing of fabric industry and devises and implements productions control to monitor operational efficiency to improve companys production to customers expectations and achieve the targets the UK market.
Role and Responsibilities This role includes the following duties and responsibilities Identify and solve issues in production that may affect efficiencyProducing a final formula to use in manufacturingCreating a chemical recipe for the right colourPreparing and testing a sample dye swatches quickly for customers approvalMixing batches of dyeWorking out the right dyeing method and temperatureRecommending special finishesDeveloping, installing, procuring and maintaining equipment used in manufacturing processPrioritise work flow, communicates with production staff daily, hold meetings briefings and supervise the production processRecommends new technologies, manufacturing methods and equipment to meet competitive business needs and improve efficiencies.
Drafting manufacturing documentation, keeping records and doing quality checksAdvises management on new production methodsEnsures the effective implementation of new techniques and equipmentDevises and implements production control methods to monitor operational efficiencyStudies existing and alternative production methods regarding work flow, types of machineryInvestigates and eliminates potential hazards and bottlenecks in productionSetting quality standards and estimates timescales and costs for clientWork with team to develop proposals that speaks to the clients needs, concerns, and objectives.
Keep management informed by submitting activity reports, such as a daily reports, weekly work plans etc.

*This Production Manager role requires a Production Manager with previous experience of knowledge of various types of synthetic and other fabrics, like Lycra, cotton, etc.
Knowledge of all dyeing and finishing of apparel processKnowledge and ability to operate the fully computerized and automatic dyeing machinery in lab and in dye house that bleaches, dyes, and finishes textiles and apparel.
The job involves weighing or measuring ingredients and testing the mixed solutions to make sure they work correctly.
Knowledge of creating a chemical recipe for the right colour is also very essential for this positionProduction of layout and plan for the workersWorking experience in the Dyeing and Finishing, garments or fashion industries.
At least two year s experience in dyeing and fishing is essential Education Qualification
