ImmediateResourcing Group is currently recruiting for a National Charity who provide high quality services to vulnerable children and families and who currently deliver a high quality service across Lincolnshire supporting Young Carers both at their centre and in the community.
We are currently working looking recruit an experienced Service Manager with strong operational management and leadership capabilities who can oversee their Young Carers contract and develop relationships with Commissioners and partner agencies.
Our client is a leading light within the sector and has won awards and gained recognition relating to their specialist work.
They have a focused mission statement which has enabled them to develop and grow their services in a sustainable and successful manner whilst building a strong culture and working ethic throughout the organisation as a whole.
Synopsis of duties:
Responsible for directly line managing 1 Team Leader and 1 Admin and Communication Officer and indirectly overseeing 5 Support Worker and 5 Volunteers Managing the Lincolnshire Young Carers Services which includes 121 Support, Group and Helpline support provisions and works in partnership with various organisations and agencies across the county to ensure Young Carers have assess to all necessary/ available support Overseeing all performance management of the service and ensuring all services meet contractual specifications and organisation policies and that KPIs are collated and submitted to Commissioners on a monthly basis Providing effective support in partnership with service users/ child, young people and parents/ carers/ families to provide a comprehensive support package Managing the delivery of the service in line with safeguarding practice, operating within the relevant Local Safeguarding Childrens Board and the organisation policies and procedures Proactively working with internal and external stakeholders, partners and funders Dealing with all aspects of operational management including supervisions and appraisals, recruitment and retention and learning and developmentEssential Requirements:
The successful candidate will need to have significant experience managing inter
*agency services for children, young people and their families.
They will also need to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding issues and hold a degree/ professional qualification in any of the following fields
*Social Care/ Work, Youth and Community Work, Health or, Education.
