airline operational performance manager

My client is a successful UK based airline with a very large presence at London Gatwick Airport.
They are now seeking a Senior Operational Performance Manager to oversee the Ground Operation resource levels at Gatwick.
This is a permanent role, attracting good benefits from the airline.
Main responsibilities Setting standards for all LGW ground handling personnel and equipment in order to deliver the required level of customer service and operational performance.
Assumptions will include sickness, attrition, travel time, training success rates and pass acquisitionlead time.
Independently calculating resource requirements for each day skill to permit oversight of the total daily full time equivalent requirement.
Tracking actual and future resources in the recruitment training pass acquisition pipeline against the requirement, taking action to address or escalate as required.
Confirming that rosters are balanced within each area, identifying any issues and flagging up as required.
Building LGW schedule inputs to deliver required operational performance.
This will include agreeing minimum turn times and local schedule related restrictions e.g. max aircraft on ground, number of departures at same STD and infrastructure restrictionswith station management.
Ownership of the LGW schedule until three days prior to day of operation to include accountability for the tactical change process and associated stakeholder interaction.
Conducting process improvement and marginal gains projects through the use of simulation software.
Responsible for the allocation of work to the Operations Performance Analyst LGW, in order to deliver complete, accurate and timely performance reports.
The ideal Candidate will Have previous experience of workload planning, preferably within an airport or ground handling environment.
Have previous experience of SITA WorkBridge or similar workload planning system is desirable.
Possess excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners.
Show tenacity and resilience to succeed in a fast paced, demanding and changing environment.
Be educated to degree level or holding an equivalent professional qualification.
Demonstrate a high degree of numeracy and IT literacy, plus accuracy and attention to detail when working under pressure.
