The role is to create and develop new airfreight import and export business opportunities between the UK and the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent by way of increasing shipment numbers, volumes (kgs), revenues and profitability year on year.

These activities should represent at approx 75% of all activities. >>   Work closely with the market Intelligence team to generate high quality leads to supplement your own and the sales teams. >>   Significant interaction throughout the company is expected in order to maximise mutual opportunities. >>   Assist with market rate knowledge on tenders relating to your route where the volumes merit.   Travel 1.       Consignee Sales Trips (UK).

    *ordination and success of the whole trip and prepare and circulate comprehensive trip report. 2.       Consignee Sales Trips (Overseas) : Gain sign off from Sales & Business Field Management and take ownership for the co
    *ordination and success of the whole trip and prepare and circulate comprehensive trip report.   Know Your Business >>         Regularly review and understand route statistics, trends etc. >>         With your overseas counterpart, arrange and chair monthly conference calls with all key stakeholders >>         Drive the relationship and support of key stakeholders that have an impact on the success of the route. >>         Work closely with the pricing team to ensure all rates submitted to our customers are aligned and competitive.
Job Requirements Most importantly previous experience developing business in the Middle East and India within ImpEx Airfreight is vital.
